Pakhala Bhata


Preparaton

# - First cook the rice then leave it to cool

# - Add cold water to the cooked rice so that the rice is submerged in the water.

# - Take 1 tsp oil in a pan and heat it, add the mustard seeds, curry leaves, sliced chillies and a little chopped ginger and remove immediately

# - Add the fried ingredients to the cooked rice.

# - Then add some Curd.

# -  Leave it to cool

# - Add salt as per taste

# - Stir well and serve.

Pakhala Bhata is the most famous food of Odisha. In old times farmers were used to have it in summer.
Now it is very popular in allover Odisha.
